Transplant Québec is publishing today its 2019 data report. It shows that for the first time in Transplant Québec’s history, the number of referrals for organ donation is exceeding the number of persons on the waiting list. The number of referrals to Transplant Québec by hospitals has increased yearly, reaching 820 in 2019, an increase of close to 9% compared to the previous year.
